Suspension Repairs
A smoother, safer ride — knocks, bounces and pulling sorted at a fixed price.
Your suspension keeps the tyres pressed onto the road, soaks up bumps and keeps the car stable when you brake and corner. Potholes, speed bumps and high mileage all take their toll, and worn parts make the car less stable and wear your tyres faster. Our mechanics find the worn part, replace it with quality parts, and check the rest of the system so the car rides and handles as it should.

How pricing works
The cost depends on which part has worn and on your vehicle, since some cars need the parts replaced in pairs on the same axle. Enter your registration number for a fixed-price quote covering parts and labour, with nothing extra done without your OK.

Frequently asked questions
Can I drive with a broken coil spring?
It is not safe to keep driving on a broken coil spring. A broken spring can damage the tyre, affect handling and braking, and is an MOT failure. Book a repair as soon as you notice it.
Should shock absorbers be replaced in pairs?
Yes, shock absorbers and springs are usually replaced in pairs on the same axle, so both sides behave the same way and the car stays balanced.
Will I need wheel alignment afterwards?
Some suspension jobs change the wheel alignment, especially work on wishbones, track rod ends or steering parts. Your mechanic will tell you if an alignment check is needed.
Is suspension checked in the MOT?
Yes. Suspension parts are checked in the MOT, and badly worn or broken parts are a common reason for failure. MOTs are carried out at approved MOT test centres.
When do I pay?
Payment arrangements are shown during booking. Your card is only charged once the work has been completed.
