Car Electrical Repairs
Starting, charging and electrical faults found and fixed.
Modern cars rely on electrics for almost everything, from starting the engine to the lights, windows and safety systems. When something stops working, the cause can be a tired battery, a failing alternator or starter motor, a blown fuse or a damaged wire. Our mechanics test the system to find the real cause before replacing anything, so you only pay for the part that has failed.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my car only click when I turn the key?
A single click or rapid clicking usually points to a flat battery, a poor connection or a failing starter motor. Testing the battery and starter shows which one it is.
What drains a car battery overnight?
A light left on, a faulty module that does not switch off, or an accessory wired in badly can drain the battery while the car is parked. A battery drain test finds the cause.
Is it the battery or the alternator?
If the car starts after a jump but goes flat again, the alternator may not be charging. If it will not hold a charge at all, the battery may be worn out. A charging system test tells them apart.
Can electrical faults be fixed at home?
Many can, such as battery, starter and simple wiring jobs. Some faults need workshop equipment, in which case the job is done at a garage.
When do I pay?
Payment arrangements are shown during booking. Your card is only charged once the work has been completed.
