Will the mechanic continue without my approval?

No. No additional chargeable work is carried out without your approval. If the mechanic finds extra work is needed, they pause the job and send you a revised quote first.

The only exceptions are work that is required by law or that is necessary to prevent an immediate safety risk — and even then we will keep you informed. You stay in control of what is done to your vehicle and what you pay.
