Step 1: Park safely and prepare the vehicle

Step 3: Read the oil level
- Pull the dipstick out carefully.
- Wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth or paper towel.
- Push it fully back into its tube.
- Remove it again and look at the oil marking.
- Confirm that the level is between the minimum and maximum marks.
The reading may be inaccurate if the dipstick is not fully inserted or the car is parked on a slope.

If the level is below the minimum mark, add the correct oil gradually. Use the specification listed in the owner’s handbook and allow time for the oil to settle before checking again.
